Superstar Mahesh Babu starrer Aagadu has had a good weekend at the box office despite the mixed talk. The collections in the city were superb and this with the sensational overseas run gave the film a superb numbers for the weekend. According to the trade Aagadu at the end of its first weekend itself has crossed the full run share of another recently rejected film Rabhasa that starred Jr NTR in the lead.
It is the sensational performance of the film in overseas which has enabled this feat to happen, says the trade. This has also put the film at second place in the all time top weekends list behind Atharintiki Daredi starring Pawan Kalyan. For a film with mixed talk this is a fabulous performance and highlights the stardom of Mahesh Babu and also the kind of hype the film enjoyed coming in the combination of Dookudu. The real test for the film will of course begin from today when the weekdays would begin and overseas collections wouldn’t be that big.
