narendra modi yedurappa

Former Karnataka Chief Minister Yeddyurappa who is currently the party’s National Vice President may well go behind the bars like Jayalalithaa as Karnataka High court gave a ‘go ahead’ to the trial court in Shimoga over disproportionate assets case. Analysts say that the cases against Yeddy are too strong to escape and the leader may well find him in jail very soon. Yeddyurappa earlier quit BJP and even went to jail for a short period.

He is released from jail just couple of months ahead the General Elections and rejoined BJP. Narendra Modi and his close aide Amit Shah played crucial role in Yeddy’s rejoining. Modi who is now the Prime Minister and now an anti-corruption crusader may well be in a very awkward position if Yeddyurappa is convicted in the case. Yeddyurappa is one of the strongest leaders and politicians in Karnataka. His arrest may even change the dynamics of Karnataka as well as National politics.
