It is a rare occurring these days when two tops stars act together, now imagine how rare it would be when two Megastars of respective industries act together? Such a film is reportedly under planning if the latest buzz in Bollywood is anything to go by.
Apparently a film is under talks which would see Bollywood’s Amitabh Bachchan and Chinese/Hong Kong Film Industry’s Jackie Chan together for the first time on screen. The film rumoured to be titled as Gold Struck will reportedly be an Indo-Chinese production with major stake coming from the Chinese. There have been several attempts in the past to make a film in this combination by various production combinations but they have never worked out for some reason. Will it work out this time around?
In a career spanning decades it was only recently that Amitabh Bachchan was seen in a Hollywood film. Similarly in Jackie Chan’s career he has worked with an Indian actress only once in his career. So the combination is not completely ruled out but we have to wait for the final details and an official announcement.
