After the special court Judge John Michael Cunha changed the fate of Jayalalithaa over night now the case on disproportionate assets moving ahead. Court had issued orders to seize 3000 acres of land owned for Jayalalithaa by six firms on behalf of ‘Amma.’

Interestingly Karnataka government will be charging a fancy sum of 5 Cr from the imposed fine on Jayalalithaa and others convicted in the case as a compensation for all the work done in their state for the trail.

Meanwhile, Jayalalithaa rejected to have VIP cell in jail and requested officials to keep her in the common ward along with her friend Sasikala and others. Jail officials said she is requesting for Tamil and English news papers and reading them in detail.

Newly sworn-in Tamilnadu CM Panneerselvam is currently in Bangalore and expected to meet Jayalalithaa in jail today.
