mahesh-pawan-kalyan

Last year on the same day on 27th September, 2013 Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Atharintiki Daaredi’ hit theatres and went away to become the industry hit collecting share of Rs.95 crores. Just before AD Pawan had one more run away hit in the form of ‘Gabbar Singh’. Two back to back super duper hits made Pawan Kalyan invincible regarding box-office collections.

Mahesh was also on a success spree with Dookudu, Businessman and SVSC. The competition had been really tough between Pawan & Mahesh for the number one position. After AD’s release, Mahesh had two big releases in this one year gap, 1-Nenokkadine and Aagadu. But both the films had given extreme disappointment. To be frank, Mahesh couldn’t make use of the gap Pawan Kalyan had given him because of his political interventions.

Mahesh missed on the golden oppurtunity to give a industry hit and level his scores with Pawan Kalyan’s AD. And before the release of Mahesh’s next movie, Pawan’s ‘Gopala Gopala’ would hit the theatres and chances are high that Pawan scores a superhit third time in a row. Admist all this, ofcourse, the fans of both stars claim their hero is number one anyway. In film industry number game is fake and stars fate sometimes change overnight.
