Ileana D’Cruz, once the most sought after actress in South Films left South for Bollywood films and concentrated only on Hindi films. Except her debut movie ‘Barfi’ as a second heroine, none of the films gave her either success or recognition as a performer.
She stopped getting offers in Bollywood but the actress has been reluctant to comeback to South movies as per the buzz. The only film she has at present is Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Rustom’. Naturally, Ileana has her hopes pinned on this one film.
She says she is proud of this film which is loosely based on some real life incidents but is fictional for the most part. After ‘Happy Ending’ (2014) with Saif Ali Khan turned out to be a disaster, Ileana can only hope for a decent run of ‘Rustom’ to be in the limelight in Bollywood.
